The hospital was started by Rotary Club of Vapi under the auspices of Rotary Charitable Trust with a view to provide modern health care services to all classes of society. In 1977, Rotary Charitable Trust was established and a modest beginning was made with an Ambulance Service and later as an Outpatient Clinic at C-Type Quarters, which was looked after by Dr. Jyoti Patel. Later a 24-bed Niramaya Rotary Hospital was established. It was in the year 1982 that Haria Group joined hands with Rotary Charitable Trust and, in the subsequent years, the Hospital made rapid progress.
Today the Haria Lakhamshi Govindji Rotary Hospital is considered as one of the best, well equipped, professionally managed and well maintained hospitals between Borivali and Surat. Apart from general population of Vapi and surrounding areas, the hospital also caters to industrial areas like Vapi, Daman, Silvassa, Sarigam, Umbergaon Morai, Pardi etc. Industrial workers covered under E.S.I. scheme also gets treatment here.
