Haria L.G. Rotary Hospital Celebrates World Radiology Day for the First Time.

The event was organized to honor Roentgen’s groundbreaking discovery and the dedication of our radiology team. At Haria L.G. Rotary Hospital, we are proud to have access to state-of-the-art radiology equipment and a skilled team of radiologists, technicians, and supporting staff. Their expertise is essential in ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care.

The celebration began with a silent prayer, followed by a welcome speech by Radiation Safety Officer, Ms. Ajala. The function was officially inaugurated with the lighting of a diya by Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Dr. Vinod Gapat; Nursing Head, Ms. Nilima; Senior Radiographer, Mr. Dharmendra Mistry; Mr. Jaywant Gone; and OT Incharge, Mr. Rajesh Dangi.

A tribute video was then shown in honor of Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen, highlighting his biography and the significance of his discovery. This was followed by a fun quiz program, where the radiology team was divided into two groups. A poster competition was also held, with participants from various departments showcasing their creative posters on the theme "Seeing the Unseen." Prizes were awarded for the best poster and the winning quiz team.

The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony, attended by our entire radiology team. Dr. Vinod Gapat, on behalf of the hospital management, delivered a vote of thanks, wishing everyone a very happy Radiology Day and expressing hopes for more such events in the future.
